Colorado has always been at the top of my list of places to visit. From hiking to shopping, there is something to do for everyone. I finally got to check this beautiful state off my list when I went to visit my dear friend, Jane, who I studied abroad with. I got to experience her life living in Greeley, a town just outside of Denver and Fort Collins. Jane's family owns a local movie theater called The Kress where they are not only showing fabulous movies but serving up local beer and signature cocktails. In addition to The Kress, Jane's family used to own the most ADORABLE coffee shop called Margie's Java Joint. The local joint is named after her grandmother and has been a town favorite ever since it opened. The mural painted on Margie's patio is actually of Jane and her sister Margret making it a true family place. Places like these are why shopping and eating local on vacations are important. Without local shops, you never truly experience how the locals live everyday. Wishing I could go back to this quiet little town. Check out the photos below to experience my time in Greeley!
